Terms of Use

Effective date: July 23, 2026

Overview

These Terms of Use apply to the Streakl mobile application and related website.

Streakl is operated by Philipp Romisch.

Website: www.streakl.app
Contact: philipp@streakl.app

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Streakl, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Streakl.

Availability and Supported Platforms

Streakl may be made available through supported mobile distribution channels, including Google Play and, where offered, the Apple App Store. Platform and country availability can differ. The applicable store listing and installed app version determine whether Streakl is currently available for your device.

We may maintain, update, change, suspend, or discontinue Streakl or individual features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, support for every device or operating-system version, or that every feature will remain available permanently.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old, or the higher minimum age required in your country, to use Streakl. If applicable law requires consent from a parent or guardian, you may use Streakl only after that consent has been provided.

AI features are not offered in the current release.

Platform Terms

If you download Streakl from the Apple App Store, Apple's applicable terms also apply, including the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

If you download Streakl from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

Mandatory platform terms apply only to the extent required by the platform and do not remove mandatory consumer rights.

Accounts and Anonymous Use

Streakl creates a temporary anonymous Firebase-backed account when you first enter the app so that setup and app data can be associated with the correct session. This guest state is intended for trying and setting up Streakl; it is not a durable identity. Where available on the platform, you can link Google or Apple sign-in.

Before an account-bound purchase, purchase restore, or gift claim is completed, Streakl requires a supported sign-in method to be linked. This gives the app a durable account to which synchronized data and access status can be associated. Available providers can differ by platform.

You are responsible for keeping access to your device and linked sign-in account secure. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.

An anonymous account is normally recoverable only from the device or session that created it unless it is linked to a sign-in provider. Losing that device, uninstalling Streakl, or clearing app data before linking the account may make the anonymous account and its data impossible to recover.

Permitted Use

You may use Streakl only for lawful personal purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect Streakl, users, or service providers, investigate abuse, or enforce these Terms.

Your Content

Streakl allows you to enter habit names, descriptions, goals, notes, schedules, progress, and other content. You retain ownership of your content.

You grant us a limited right to process that content only as needed to provide, synchronize, secure, maintain, and support Streakl as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for what you enter and must have the right to use it. Do not enter unlawful content or confidential information belonging to another person without permission.

Data Storage, Export, and Your Responsibility

Streakl uses local storage and cloud synchronization. Although reasonable safeguards and backup processes may be used, no storage system is guaranteed to be error-free or permanently available.

You should use the app's export feature to keep a copy of information that is important to you. You are responsible for reviewing an export and securely storing or sharing it after the device share sheet opens.

Uninstalling the app, clearing local storage, losing access to an anonymous session, provider outages, account deletion, or necessary data migrations can affect availability of your data. Mandatory data-protection and consumer rights remain unaffected.

Health and Wellbeing

Streakl is a habit and productivity tool. It is not a medical device, health-care service, mental-health service, emergency service, or substitute for professional advice.

Habit suggestions, reminders, progress statistics, streaks, charts, timers, and motivational messages are general organizational information. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a guarantee of a health, fitness, productivity, or wellbeing outcome.

Do not use Streakl for emergencies or time-critical medication instructions. Seek qualified professional or emergency assistance where appropriate. You remain responsible for your decisions, actions, and wellbeing.

Notifications and Reminders

Notifications and reminders are optional conveniences. Delivery can be delayed, blocked, duplicated, or prevented by network conditions, operating-system settings, power-saving features, provider outages, or device configuration.

You are responsible for independently tracking anything safety-critical. You can manage reminders in Streakl and notification permission in the device settings.

Payments and Subscriptions

Streakl supports the following in-app products through Google Play or Apple:

Only the products and offers shown in the app and native store checkout are available to you. The store displays the final price, currency, taxes, billing period, renewal terms, and any trial or introductory offer before purchase. Store configuration, country, platform, and account eligibility can affect availability. Streakl does not promise a trial or introductory offer, and there is no fixed global price in these Terms.

Google Play or Apple is the merchant/payment provider for the purchase under its applicable terms. RevenueCat helps Streakl retrieve offerings, validate store transactions, restore purchases, and resolve the linked account's access entitlement. Streakl does not receive your full payment-card number.

Recurring plans and Lifetime access

Monthly and Yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the period and price shown by the store unless you cancel through the store in time under its rules. Deleting Streakl, signing out, uninstalling the app, or deleting the Streakl account does not cancel the store subscription.

"Lifetime" is a one-time in-app purchase for the access described in the offer shown at checkout. The term "Lifetime" describes the product's non-recurring access model; it does not guarantee that Streakl, every feature, or every platform will remain available forever. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Trials and introductory offers

A trial or introductory offer applies only if the store presents it and confirms that your store account is eligible. Unless you cancel as the store explains before the offer ends, a subscription may convert to the recurring plan and price shown at checkout. Eligibility decisions and billing are controlled by the applicable store.

Purchase confirmation, pending states, and restore

Access is granted only after the store transaction and entitlement are successfully verified. A purchase can remain pending, be declined, be cancelled, or require later verification. Streakl will not treat an unverified or failed result as active paid access.

You can request Restore purchases in Streakl. Restore depends on the same Google Play or Apple store account, the applicable platform and product records, RevenueCat validation, and the linked Streakl account. Restore does not create a refund or a second purchase, and cross-store or cross-platform recovery is not guaranteed where the stores do not provide matching records.

Cancellation, subscription management, and refunds

Manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play or Apple. Cancellation normally stops a future renewal; access may continue until the end of the already-paid period as the store indicates. Removing the app or deleting the Streakl account is not a substitute for store cancellation.

Refunds, withdrawal rights, billing disputes, and payment-method issues are handled under applicable law and the rules of the store that processed the transaction. Contact the store where its process is required, or contact Streakl if you need reasonable assistance identifying the relevant purchase route. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer remedies.

Gifts and promotional access

Streakl may offer time-limited gift or promotional access. The app shows the applicable eligibility, duration, and claim conditions. A gift claim may require a linked account and backend verification, and access is granted only after the claim is confirmed. A gift is not a store subscription, does not by itself create a recurring charge, and cannot be exchanged by Streakl for cash unless mandatory law requires otherwise. We may reject duplicate, ineligible, manipulated, or abusive claims based on the disclosed offer rules and reasonable security controls.

Intellectual Property

Streakl, including its app, website, design, software, branding, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by Philipp Romisch or used with permission and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms grant only a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Streakl in accordance with these Terms. They do not transfer ownership of Streakl or its intellectual property.

Third-Party Services

Streakl uses third-party services for authentication, cloud synchronization, notifications, app integrity, Analytics after consent, diagnostics, website hosting, email, app distribution, store billing, and entitlement management. RevenueCat, Google Play, Apple, and provider sign-in services apply their own terms and privacy notices to the parts they control.

We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control. Where applicable law imposes responsibility on us for selecting or using a processor, that responsibility is not excluded by this section.

Maintenance and Changes

We may release updates, correct errors, change data structures, or modify features for security, compatibility, legal, or product reasons. Some updates may be required to continue using cloud-connected features.

We may update these Terms for future use. The effective date will be changed when a new version is posted. If a material change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it.

Account Deletion and Termination

You can stop using Streakl at any time. You can delete your account under Settings > Data controls > Delete account, or follow the account deletion instructions if you no longer have app access.

Deleting an account is permanent for active Streakl account data and may not be reversible. It does not cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription, issue a refund, or erase store purchase history. Cancel an active subscription through the applicable store before deleting the account if you do not want it to renew. Limited transaction, entitlement, gift-claim, support, legal, security, provider, or backup records can remain as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of a material violation of these Terms, unlawful conduct, security risk, abuse, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will consider the seriousness of the issue and available remedies before acting.

Disclaimer

Streakl is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that Streakl will always be available, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular personal goal.

Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

Liability is unlimited for intent and gross negligence; injury to life, body, or health; fraudulently concealed defects; guarantees expressly given; and liability required by mandatory law, including applicable product-liability law.

For slight negligence, liability is limited, where legally permitted, to breaches of essential contractual duties and to the typical foreseeable damage. An essential duty is one whose performance is necessary for proper performance of the agreement and on which users may ordinarily rely.

The limitations above do not restrict mandatory consumer rights or a lower liability threshold required by applicable law.

Privacy

Our processing of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy also explains Usage analytics choices, data export, account deletion, retention, and rights requests.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by German law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country requires otherwise.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law that would apply without this clause. Mandatory rules on jurisdiction remain unaffected. No exclusive venue is imposed on consumers where doing so would be unlawful.
